WHAT IS A HOST FAMILY?
Each year dozens of exceptional individuals and families open their homes to the finest amateur hockey players. These selfless families provide a vital service to the success of the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks program. Players become part of their family during the hockey season.
MONTHLY COMPENSATION
The host/billet family will receive a monthly stipend of $650 to go towards groceries and other expenses. The stipend is paid by the team directly to the billet family.
BILLET EXPERIENCE
The Host/Billet experience will truly be rewarding, with a unique connection that lasts a lifetime. If you ask any young player that has played away from home, their fondest memories likely include their Billets. The benefit derived from placing players with host/billet families is truly immeasurable.
