OUR LEAGUES & CLINICS

 

Danbury Arena offers hockey leagues and clinics all year around for every age and ability. From cross Ice Leagues to the Danbury House League we have leagues for every skill level. Check out all of our leagues below!

Sessions are held on the same day and time each week. Summer sessions run 10 consecutive weeks.
No sessions run during camp season.

10U Mite Cross Ice League

(Ages 10 and under)
Meets on Mondays & Saturdays
Any skater ages 10 and uber who has completed Hockey Development or any advanced Learn Hockey program. One practice and one game per week. Skaters will learn and develop skills to play hockey in the future. Emphasis on Power Skating, “in-game” style skill development and all the tools need to be a competitive hockey player at skater’s age group level.

House League

(Ages 11-14)
Meets on Thursdays & Saturdays
Any skater ages 11-14 who has developed basic skills and is looking to learn the game of hockey and play on a team. One practice and one game per week. Skaters must have full hockey gear and safety equipment.

Sessions are held on the same day and time each week. Summer sessions run 10 consecutive weeks.
No sessions run during camp season.

HAT TRICKS HIGHSCHOOL CLINIC

Ages 14 and up
Meets on Tuesdays at 4:30PM - 5:30PM
$60 Per Session

Description: This 1 hour clinic is specific to skaters and goalies currently in or transitioning into high school hockey. Advanced skill work and drills, specific to certain game situations will be taught by our high level staff. NAHL & NA3HL players will be on the ice as well to enhance the on ice experience and competition. This is a perfect way to prepare for the upcoming high school season.

OFF-ICE CLINIC

Meets on Wednesdays & Saturdays
6PM - 7PM
$20 Per Session
Any skater ages 8 and up. No prior experience required. This program is off-ice, so participants should wear workout style sports clothes with sneakers Focusing on agility, endurance, speed, strength, and balance. This program involves physical activity and participants will be tired afterwards.

ADULT CLINIC

Ages 18 and up
Any skater ages 18 and up. This clinic covers a wide skill range. Whether you’re a skater returning to the ice after a few years off, a seasoned adult league member, or a new skater, our coaches work on all the skills applicable for gameplay.

Sessions are held on the same day and time each week. Summer sessions run 10 consecutive weeks.
No sessions run during camp season.
